Our last day in Puerto Rico was very much a chill day! We were all ready for a relaxing day on the beach and that’s what we did. We spent hours in the Laquillo Beach area reading in the shade of palm trees, bobbing in the water, and even trying to snorkel the reef right off shore. I say trying because the surf was really too high to make it enjoyable but we were determined to at least try!
This was our first trip to Puerto Rico but I’m guessing it won’t be our last. Even though it’s a US territory, it’s really like being in another country. The people were friendly and vibrant, the music and food were amazing, and the beauty of nature was abundant. Oh, and the airfare was ridiculously cheap!
